Eure.K – Valider et certifier les compétences-clés européennes

The Institute realized Eure.K project, coordinated by the CNAM-Conservatoire National Des Arts et Metiers of Paris, in partnership with other French, Italian, Portuguese and Belgian universities and training institutions, in particular: the Cnam center of Lorraine, the Francois Rabelais Tours University and the Apapp- Association pour la promotion du APP label (Atelier de pédagogie personnalisée) in France; the University of Padua and the Politecnico Calzaturiero in Italy; the University of Lisbon and the University of Algarve in Portugal; The Forem in Belgium.

The initiative aimed to promote models of validation and certification of the eight key competences defined by the European Union “essential for personal fulfillment, active citizenship, social cohesion and employability in a knowledge society”, in order to facilitate the entry of young people into the world of work. The project, launched at the end of 2015 till 2018, is funded by the European Erasmus + program. Following a study and analysis of the evaluation and validation devices of key competences in the partner countries, the project involved institutions and actors working in the field of employment and training to define together possible strategies national and regional sectors and experiment with a model applicable in Europe. To this end, dissemination days are organized in each partner country.

The model developed is illustrated  to experts from non-partner countries and EU representatives in Brussels in order to drawed up a Memorandum for the recognition, validation and certification of key competences, presented during the Final conference in Paris July, 2-3, 2018.
