In view of the first training activity already planned in Wrexham, Wales, from the 7th to the 11th of October, hosted by the Coleg Cambria, the Italian group of trainers involved in the WP3 of KVALUES is taking part to the workshop about digital storytelling organized by the European project ENKDIST.

The event will be hosted by Luigi Sturzo Institute on Thursday the 26th of September and Friday the 27th.

On Thursday, during the morning, Steve Bellis (Coleg Cambria - UK), Helen Graham (University of Leeds – UK), Michał Malinowski (Storyteller Museum – Polonia), Federica Pesce and Antonia Liguori (Luigi Sturzo Institute) will facilitate the workshop on “Digital storytelling and copyright: experiences and methods”.

On Friday, the 5 Italian trainers, with other 20 people working in the cultural sector from all over Europe will record first-person narratives, collect still images, video and music where appropriate, to illustrate their pieces. They are then guided through computer or smartphones tutorials that enable them to edit their own stories.

This workshop is part of a series of seven workshops on DST organized by the European Project ENKDIST, with the purpose to apply the DST methodologies in different learning contexts, and it’s an important step for the trainers involved in KVALUES who are getting close to the out-and-out training activity already scheduled during October in Wales and during December Germany with the others trainers from Estonia, Bulgaria and Sweden.
