CET for AID - Community Exhibitions as Tools for Adults' Individual Development

Luigi Sturzo Institute is one of the 6 partners from Hungary, UK, Italy, Portugal involved in this LLP Grundtvig Learning Partnerships, coordinated by the Múzeumok és Látogatók Alapítvány (Foundation for Museums and Visitors) in Budapest. It’s a partnership of museum and heritage sites in Europe with the aim of debating, sharing ideas and innovative practice around the problems museums have to deal when engaging with their diverse audiences, visitors and communities. The project objectives are:

  • - to increase learning and understanding at a European level of ways in which communities can be involved meaningfully in museums and heritage sites;
  • - to help museums of highly academic nature to become more open to their communities and develop new ways of supporting adults’ learning;
  • - to provide better services for more diverse audiences;
  • - to disseminate learning to support organizations without the capacity to trial and evaluate similar approaches.
